Nautica Japan

Nautica Japan was launched in 2020 under stylist Akio Hasegawa, who leaned into Nautica's history rather than smoothing it over. Through the '90s, skate and streetwear kids had adopted the brand's WASP-y sailing look wholesale, pairing it with baggier shapes and their own thrashed-out styling. Hasegawa's version runs with that: oversized windbreakers, roomy knitwear and ankle-length cargo shorts sit alongside the preppier basics — chinos, button-down shirts — the brand built its name on originally. Heritage-conscious rather than nostalgic, cut closer to how the pieces were actually worn the first time round.

Sizing note: Nautica Japan is generally oversized — your usual size will fit bigger than normal.
