The Rake is a Gramicci stockist based in Newcastle, NSW, shipping Gramicci pants, shorts, tees and jackets across Australia. Founded in 1982 by climber Mike Graham, Gramicci built the G-Pant as a technical solution to a specific problem: how to move freely on rock without sacrificing coverage. Forty years on, it's still made on the same pattern — and still the reference point for everything else the brand makes.
G-Pant & G-Short
Elasticated waist with a built-in webbing belt, relaxed through the seat with a gusseted crotch for extra movement and a slight taper. True to your usual US size — that's how we list Gramicci sizing at The Rake, and it runs slightly relaxed rather than tight.
Gadget Pant & Gadget Short
Same elasticated waist and webbing belt as the G-Pant, cut fuller through the leg with the signature wraparound pockets. Size the same way you would a G-Pant — your usual US size.
T-Shirts
Cut generally oversized rather than a slim regular fit. If you prefer a closer fit, size down one from your usual — otherwise your usual US size gives the intended relaxed, boxy shape.
Jackets
Cut with room to layer underneath. True to your usual size for a regular fit with room to wear a knit or overshirt beneath.
