The Merz b. Schwanen 215 is a loopwheeled T-shirt in 100% organic cotton, made by a brand that still runs its own loopwheel machines in Germany. With no side seams and a 2-thread jersey that's sturdy yet soft, it has a rounded, substantial weight that modern jersey rarely gets close to.
This is the white T-shirt Jeremy Allen White wore as Carmy in The Bear, and the reason so many people went looking for it. It runs small, so size up, and it softens with every wash, which is part of the point.
